Top Performers in National Exams Speak Out

Kellia Gatete Umuhoza, the second-best performer who studied Mathematics, Physics and Geography at Gashora Girls Academy encouraged her fellow girls to be bold and courageous, that they can succeed as well.

“We were used to teachers closely following up on our studies, but during Covid-19 it was really hard studying by ourselves. I thank our school which helped us with online platforms to keep in touch with our teachers,” she said.

Miss Rwanda 2021!

Congratulations to Gashora Girls Academy alumna, Grace Ingabire, who was crowned Miss Rwanda 2021.  Grace graduated from Bates College, majoring in dance with a concentration on globalization and philosophy.  We wish her the best on this journey. University of St. Thomas Award Winner

Gashora alumna, Pascale Kunda, was recently voted this year's Tommie Award winner, a prestigious award offered once a year to a senior at the University of St. Thomas.  Pascale is currently a senior at St. Thomas studying mechanical engineering and minoring in peace engineering and is the first engineering major to receive this award.  An interview with Pascale can be read here.  She shares about the engineering program and her hopes for the future.
